KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. — Police say a pedestrian was killed Friday morning after being struck by a train in Kings Mountain.
Michael Wayne Price was standing on the train tracks when the collision occurred and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release.
Officers responded to the area of S. Railroad Avenue and Elm Street around 4:12 a.m. in reference to a pedestrian being struck.
The investigation into this case is active and ongoing.
