GASTONIA, N.C.– One person is dead after their moped was hit by a SUVΒ on Bessemer City Road Saturday night.Β
Gastonia Police say Robby Dean Brandon was pulling out of Little L’s Bar & Grill on a moped when he was hit.
Brandon was treated by Gaston Emergency Medical Services and transported to CaroMont Regional Medical Center where he later died. Β
The preliminary investigation indicates that speed was not a factor. Β
No charges have been filed at this time and the collision is still under investigation. Β
