Three Dead in Double Murder-Suicide

 GASTONIA, NC — Several children ran for help after their grandfather started shooting in Gastonia Tuesday night.  

Police say Benjamin King shot his estranged wife Lisa King and her boyfriend James Baucom before turning the gun on himself.  It happened Tuesday morning inside a mobile home at the Berkley Oaks mobile home park.

“I really do, I think it’s awful,” said Berkley Oaks Manager Anna Islas.  “My neighborhood, we have kids everywhere, and any of those bullets or fragments could have went into any of my homes.”

The five children inside the home ranged in age from 4 to 13.  They were not hurt.
