Police Asking For Public’s Help Identifying Belmont Car Break-In Suspects

BELMONT, N.C. — The Gaston County Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspects accused of stealing items from a vehicle in Belmont on Thursday.

Two suspects stole items out of an unlocked vehicle and attempted to enter at least five other vehicles in the Abbington Way neighborhood off of Perfection Avenue in Belmont around 5:40 a.m., according to authorities.

The other vehicles that the suspect attempted to break into were locked.

There were three suspects in total, two attempting to enter vehicles and one driving a silver SUV.
