Busted for dropping the F-bomb! A South Carolina mom gets thrown in jail for what a shopper thought she said to her children. Sure, words have power, but should they be powerful enough to get you thrown behind bars?
A mom in North Augusta can’t believe a trip to Kroger ended when she was hauled off to jail! She said she dropped the F-bomb on her husband because he was squishing their bread with frozen pizza. However, another shopper thought the woman was yelling at her kids. She complained, and the cops were called out.
The mother was charged with disorderly conduct because the law in North Augusta applies to lewd or obscene words spoken in anger. The shopper who complained says she didn’t want the lady to be arrested, even though she heard her say several four-letter words while in the store.
