Morning Brew: Build-A-Bear Is Back With Its Adults-Only Teddy Bears And Love Is In The Terminal This Valentine’s Day At Airports Across The Country
CHARLOTTE, NC — In this Pure Intentions Coffee Morning Brew segment, Build-A-Bear is back with its “adults-only” teddy bears and love is in the terminal this Valentine’s Day at airports across the country.
Love is in the terminal this Valentine’s Day at several airports across the country with plenty of fun and freebies to warm your heart — no matter your relationship status. In Las Vegas, Nevada’s Clark County clerk’s office is bringing back its pop-up marriage license bureau to Harry Reid International Airport now through February 22nd. Starting today in Philadelphia International Airport, employees will be handing out 800 red, pink and white carnations to passengers and Jacksonville International Airport is also handing out carnations to passengers. If you happen to be passing though Tampa International Airport between 2 and 4 PM on Monday, you will be serenaded by a live singing duo and the “Random Acts of Love” event returns to Dallas Love Field Airport which includes activities for kids. O’hare and Midway airports in Chicago will host their annual “Love Is In The Air” events, including live entertainment and pop-up gift market.
Build-A-Bear is back with its “adults-only” teddy bears just in time for Valentine’s Day. The collection features stuffed animals with a bit more spice and booze than the family-friendly bears. The Build-A-Bear after dark collection is available now at buildabear.com. The website will make you verify your age before you can browse in the bear cave. Once you are in you’ll find stuffed toys holding stuffed champagne, wine, seltzer, rosé, and more! The stuffed animals also bring the sass with their outfits. The company said they started selling the adults-only toys a couple years ago and have been marketing the “after dark” collection around Valentine’s ever since. The special collection is not available in stores.
