GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — Police are investigating a shooting involving an officer that occurred Friday afternoon near apartments in Gaston County.
The incident began unfolding around 4 p.m. near the apartments on Maple Circle in the Mount Holly area.
Police have confirmed this is an officer-involved shooting and that a car has been shot into.
