ROCK HILL, S.C. — Police have charged a 26-year-old Rock Hill man with murder after a fatal shooting early Friday morning.
Just after 2 a.m. on February 11th, deputies say they found a person with gunshot wounds in a truck on I-77 near exit 85 in Fort Mill.
Deputies say the person was then taken to a local hospital where they later died.
Detectives say Robert Johnson was identified as a suspect after an initial investigation.

Around 2:30 p.m., Johnson was taken into custody after he ran from deputies following a car chase that ended on Spruce Street in Rock Hill.
Johnson was booked into the York County Detention Center and was denied bond, according to a news release.
The investigation into this case is active and ongoing.
