Samaritan’s Purse Sending More Aid To Nepal

 BOONE, NC — Boone-based Samaritan’s Purse is sending more help to homeless earthquake victims in Nepal.  The organization will take off from Charlotte-Douglas Airport Tuesday morning and deliver 105 tons of shelter material to the devastated area.

The country has been hit by two quakes in the last 30 days.  More than 8,600 people have died.  Thousands more are injured.  There are new fears that the upcoming rainy season will trigger more landslides.
