Black-Owned Business Spotlight
CHARLOTTE, N.C.– WCCB’s Joe Duncan paid a visit to three black-owned businesses in Charlotte. Studio 229 on Brevard is a unique business that does a bit of everything from event space rental, to offering Jazz nights and art exhibits. The owners also use the space to give piano lessons to kids.
Brown Sugar Collab is the place to go for all kinds of things from scented candles to skin care. The store caters to both women and men.
Finally, I took a look around Five 13 Studio, a clothing boutique. Inside you will find all of the latest fashion trends for daytime or that special piece for a night out on the town.
