LANCASTER, S.C. — Police are investigating after two people were shot and a grocery store was robbed in Lancaster around the same time Friday night.
Around 7 p.m. on February 25th, detectives say a teen was shot while playing basketball with friends on Gay Street.
The friends were playing on the basketball court when they head gunfire, according to a news release.
Police say multiple shell casings were located.
After officers arrived on the scene, they also discovered another person had been grazed by a bullet while driving down the bypass near KFC.
At this time, detectives consider both shootings related and are investigating them as one case.

Police say an unknown Black woman entered the grocery store, stating she had a gun and wanted all of the money.
Officers say the woman was wearing all black, a face mask, sunglasses and a scarf around her hair.
Police do not believe this is related to the shootings.
