STATESVILLE, N.C. — Fire officials in Statesville are investigating a house fire.

The fire broke out around 3 p.m. at a home on Fink Road.
When firefighters arrived, the found flames and heavy smoke shooting from the roof of the two-story home.
Police shut down nearby Wilkesboro Highway while officials investigated.
Tonight, WCCB is asking authorities if anyone was hurt.
There is no word yet on what caused the fire.
