Edge On The Clock: Hollywood Shows Support For Ukraine At Awards Show
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Screen Actors Guild Awards attendees showed up for Ukraine in ways big and small Sunday night. Leslie Odom Jr. addressed the conflict during the show’s opening. And, Michael Keaton mentioned the Ukrainian president during his award acceptance speech saying, “We have a fellow actor in (President) Zelensky, who deserves some credit tonight for fighting the fight…”
Plus, Target is making moves beyond Black History Month to celebrate and uplift Black lives every day of the year. The company is introducing a new a collection called “Creating Our Own Future.” 86 percent of the items in this collection are created by Black business owners and designers, which is the most ever.
And, it turns out Wendy’s burgers are square for a reason. And that reason can be traced back to Wendy’s founder, Dave Thomas.
