A Beautiful Spring-Like Week Ahead
Gradually Warming Through Thursday
An area of high pressure dominates the week with temperatures gradually warming through Thursday. The ridge of high pressure will keep us dry with no rain in the forecast through the weekend.
TONIGHT:
Increasing clouds overnight, but quickly decreasing Tuesday morning. Lows will bottom out in the mid 30s.
TUESDAY:
AM clouds decrease and temperatures warm. Highs will top out in the mid 60s.
WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY:
Sunny skies and warm! Highs in the mid 70s.
FRIDAY:
A dry cold front will slightly drop temperatures with highs back to the mid 60s.
WEEKEND:
Back to unseasonably warm temperatures with highs near 80 degrees on Sunday.
NOTES:
– In Charlotte, our average last freeze is March 29th. The average last frost occurs on april 10th. Even though temperatures are warming, I would still hold off on planting tender plants.
– Most of our area is in abnormally dry conditions according to the recent U.S. Drought Monitor.
– With dry conditions and temperatures rising, tree pollen will continue to rise through the week.
Have a wonderful week and enjoy the warmth!
Kaitlin
