Pleasant Start to the Month

AM Headlines:
  • Clouds Clear After Chilly Start
  • Sunny and Warmer Afternoon
  • Warm and Quiet Start to March
  • No Rain Chances Until Late Weekend
Discussion:
March and meteorological spring is off to a quiet start. Chilly this morning with temps in the mid-30s across the region. Any high clouds this morning will thin with sunny skies and highs in the mid-60s this afternoon. Overnight lows will fall to the low 40s. The zonal pattern will keep this quiet trend over the next few days. Temps will warm to the low to mid-70s Wednesday and Thursday. A backdoor cold front late Thursday won’t have much of an impact on our area, but it will bring in more clouds and keep temps a bit cooler Friday with highs in the low 60s. The weekend will bring the warmest temps since mid-October to the region with highs near 80 by Sunday. Dry weather will persist through much of the weekend with just an isolated shower chance returning late Sunday into Monday.
