CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Brides – it is time to say yes to the dress.
Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont will host their annual Bridal Pop-up at the Goodwill Opportunity Campus, located on Wilkinson Boulevard in Charlotte, on March 5. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Donated items have helped to create magical wedding moments for brides like Madison, who found a gently used gown at Goodwill’s 2020 Bridal Pop-Up event and saved thousands, according to a news release.
Goodwill is encouraging brides to bring their wedding party with them to the event as well so that they can shop women’s formal and semi-formal attire, wedding accessories and more.
Whenever a customer donates or shops with Goodwill, they help provide job training and employment services, free of charge, for job seekers in their community.
According to a spokesperson, proceeds from the sale of donated goods allowed Goodwill to serve more than 7,500 people in 2020.
