Additional Charges To Be Filed After One Dies In Double Shooting

UPDATE: The two victims of the double shooting last night have been identified as Sedrick Hartgrove, 30, and Sherman Addison, 20.

Both men were transported with critical injuries to Cleveland Regional Medical. Hartgrove passed away as a result of his injuries, and Addison remains in critical condition.

Additional charges will be filed against James Ussery as a result of Hartgrove’s death.

KINGS MOUNTAIN, NC — James Travis Ussery, 36, has been charged with shooting two men late last night.

Police say the shooting occurred at Ussery’s home on West Gold Street around 10pm last night. When they arrived they found two male victims with gunshot wounds.

Witnesses say the the two men came to Ussery’s home, got into an argument on the porch, and then the shots were fired. The two victims were transported to Cleveland Regional Medical Center.

Ussery is being charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, and is being held on a $100,000 bond.
