TAMPA, Fla. (AP) β Chicago Blackhawks forward Teuvo Teravainen is already nicknamed “Turbo.”
That didn’t stop Chicago veteran Marian Hossa from coming up with a new one: He says the 20-year-old’s smooth, clinical approach to hockey is “Finnish cold.”
Teravainen scored a goal and assisted on the game winner in Chicago’s 2-1 victory in the Stanley Cup Final opener against Tampa Bay. The youngster has eight points in 13 playoff games, nearly matching his nine points in 34 regular-season games, and he has given Chicago another weapon in their pursuit of another championship.
