SALISBURY, N.C. — The Salisbury Police Department is investigating after a F&M Bank was robbed Thursday morning.
According to police, the robbery happened at the bank, located on Jake Alexander Boulevard, around 9:20 a.m. when a 60-year-old man approached the counter.
There were two tellers, one who was in training, at the counter as he approached, police say.
The suspect passed a note, but did not display a gun. Detectives say the tellers gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money, and he left the scene in a silver Honda CRV on Jake Alexander Boulevard.
Detectives are actively investigating the incident.
