ROCK HILL, S.C. — The Rock Hill Police Department is investigating after a GameStop was robbed with a gun Thursday night.
Police responded to the store, located on John Ross Parkway, around 9 p.m. after a report of an armed robbery.
Upon arrival, officers met with the employee who stated that the suspect entered the store and looked around before approaching the counter close to 15 minutes later. The suspect came to the counter while the employee was at the cash register.
The suspect shows a handgun while demanding money. According to authorities, after being handed an unknown amount of money, the suspect fled the store.
Police say the suspect has been described as a Hispanic or light skinned black man who was wearing a black and gray track suit with a face mask.
The Rock Hill Police Department Criminal Investigations Division is continuing the investigation.
