Carolina Panthers Hire New Head Coach

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers sign a 6-year-old Charlotte boy to a one-day coaching contract during a surprise pep rally.

Several members of the Carolina Panthers surprised Braylon Beam with a pep rally and coaching contract at his school.  Beam will serve as the team’s Honorary Associate Head Coach during Fan Fest on Friday, August 7th and will have his wish granted to be the head coach of the Carolina Panthers.

Braylon is currently undergoing treatment at Presbyterian Hospital for a tumor on his optic nerve.  In May, he appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which inspired Ellen’s #JustKeepDancing movement to raise money for pediatric cancer.
