Carowinds Officially Opens For 2022 Season | PHOTOS

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Carowinds has officially opened for its 2022 season.

Guests can expect new entertainment experiences, fresh new menu items, and of course heart-pounding fun as the amusement park holds some of the tallest, fastest, and longest roller coasters in the Southeast.

After being closed for most of the 2020, the park reopened in 2021 with several COVID restrictions in place to keep guests safe.

In 2022, officials say several of those restrictions, including a mask mandate, will be lifted.
