The Patriots advanced with a 45-7 win over the Colts yesterday in the AFC championship game while the defending league champion Seahawks beat the Packers, in overtime, 28-22 to win the NFC crown. The Super Bowl is being played in two weeks in Glendale, Arizona.

CORTINA D’AMPEZZO, Italy (AP) β In case you missed it yesterday, Lindsay Vonn is now tied for the most World Cup wins in women’s Alpine skiing history. She tied Annemarie Moser-Proell’s (MOH’-shur prehlz) 35-year-old record of 62 career wins by winning a downhill in Italy.
