Brief Return of Sunshine for St. Paddy’s Day

Patchy dense fog and drizzle across the region to start the day. However, the luck of the Irish is with us today as those clouds clear and temps warm to the low to mid 70s this afternoon. The dry weather will be short-lived as another disturbance brings rain and a few rumbles late Friday into early Saturday morning. The severe threat will be limited, but a stronger storm could produce damaging wind gusts. Rain will clear early Saturday, however outside of the mountains, cooler air will be trailing with highs still reaching the low 70s early in the afternoon. The first day of spring will be dry and and sunny with temps reaching the mid 60s. Take advantage of the dry stretch of weather. Wednesday will begin a soggy stretch that will last through the end of the week.
