CHARLOTTE, N.C. — On Saturday, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department will be hosting a Youth Care Day at its recreation center on Spring Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Youth Care Day is described as a an activity-filled event that allows law enforcement to interact with local youth and educate them about life skills and immersion programs.
Sponsored by the Charlotte Chapter of Noble, Youth Care Day is a collaborative event.
Officials say the event will be held at the CMPD Police Athletic League Recreational Center at 1330 Spring Street in Charlotte.
