ROCK HILL, S.C. – Police say a pedestrian is fighting for his life after being hit by a vehicle while he was crossing a street in Rock Hill.
In the early hours of Monday, March 21st, Police responded to a traffic incident at the intersection of Celanese Road and Riverview Road. Officers say a 21-year-old man was found lying unconscious in the intersection.
According to a news release, investigators determined the driver of a Nissan Rouge was traveling east on Celanese towards I-77 when they reportedly struck the pedestrian as he was trying to cross the street.
The unconscious man was rushed to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. No one involved in the accident has been identified at this time.
