Smart Shopper: Free Things To Do This Week!
CHARLOTTE, NC– With inflation, gas, and the prices of just about everything going up, you’re probably sick of us talking about money nowadays. Well, you’re in for a treat because in today’s Smart Shopper, I’m going to tell you all about some affordable and free things to do with your friends and family this week.
Things may be going up, but there are some things that you and your family enjoy around the town for free! Yes, you heard me right; for FREE! Every Wednesday the Mint Museum and Harvey B. Gantt Museum is absolutely free from 5 – 9pm. There is also free museum admission at the Schiele Museum on Tuesday, April, 5th from 12 – 4 pm.
For my dog lovers and all the pet owners out there, the Paws in the Park event is on April 2nd from 10 am – 3pm at Pineville Lake Park and will be so much fun for your furry friends.
With CMS not having school Monday and an early release on Wednesday, it’s the perfect time to take the kiddos to the fair! The Charlotte Fair is in Concord and goes until the 3rd of April. Kids are free this Wednesday, the 30th but you’ll need a ticket to get in.
