Multiple Injuries Reported After School Bus Involved In Multi-Car Wreck In Mooresville

Officials say one student out of four on Bus 358 from Mooresville Intermediate School was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for a sore neck after a wreck Wednesday afternoon.
The three other students were released into the custody of their parents, according to a news release.
Officials say the parent of the injured student was at the scene and rode to the hospital with their child.
The bus driver was not injured, but one person from one of the cars involved was also taken to a local hospital with injuries following the crash, according to a news release.

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — EMS is requesting another ambulance to the scene of a Mooresville crash between a school bus and two other cars after multiple people, including students, were left injured on Wednesday.
Reports say the crash occurred at the intersection of Avalon Reserve Drive and Landis Highway around 4 p.m.
At the scene, a school bus and two heavily damaged vehicles were found in the roadway.
Authorities say both the bus and vehicles are leaking fluids.
Multiple injuries, students included, have been reported.
