
CHARLOTTE , N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police officers have made an arrest using the Electronic Monitoring Device. The arrest, of teenager Trevis Moore, stems from a robbery that occurred in the 600 block of E. 8th street on December 18th, 2014.
The victim reported being assaulted and relieved of his property before the suspects fled on foot. Through crime scene correlation and the Electronic Monitoring System, officers determined that Trevis Moore was at the scene of the crime.
Mr. Moore was located and arrested by officers on January 15th, 2015 without incident. He was charged with Common Law Robbery, Assault Inflicting Serious Bodily Injury, and Felony Conspiracy. Mr. Moore had been on Electronic Monitoring since July, for robbery.
The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released by CMPD Public Affairs as it develops.
