CHARLOTTE, NC — A man has serious injuries after a driver backed into him in east Charlotte. Witnesses say the driver’s foot slipped off the brake and onto the gas. The car pinned the victim to the front of a store, breaking the glass. Stephen Hager works nearby and rushed to help.
“I know that by looking at his legs that both of his legs were broken,” said Hager. “I know both of the gentlemen and, it was just, kind of traumatic to see somebody that you know that’s in that position.”
Police on the scene tell WCCB the driver is not being charged.
