CATAWBA CO., N.C. — An off-duty Catawba County officer was arrested early Saturday morning for driving drunk, according to the sheriff’s office.
Police say the officer was arrested by the Granite Falls Police Department around 3 a.m. for Driving While Impaired.
Their employment with the sheriff’s office has been terminated.
There is no further information at this time.
