WASHINGTON, DC — Supporting the middle class, stopping ISIL’s advances in the Middle East, and protecting the privacy of American families.  Those were just a few of the topics in Tuesday’s State of the Union address.  President Obama delivered his 6th address to the nation, promising Americans a brighter future.

The President’s main message Tuesday was building an economy that can compete in the 21st century.  He said there’s a full-on economic resurgence in the American workforce in 2015.  He also called for bipartisanship on Capitol Hill, and for new policies to help the majority of Americans: the middle class.

The President also talked about the efforts to stop terrorists around the world, saying the U.S. will continue to work with other nations to take down terrorist networks in Europe and the Middle East.
