Police say 79-year-old William Weldon was located Saturday morning after going missing on Friday.
Authorities say he was conscious and alert, sustained no apparent injury, and was taken to a nearby hospital to be examined.

FORT MILL, S.C. — Police are searching for missing 79-year-old William Eddie Weldon after he disappeared from his home in Fort Mill, S.C. on Friday.
Officers say Weldon walked away from his home on Friendfield Drive between 4 a.m. and 8 a.m.
He is described as a White man, 5 feet 8 inches, and 150 pounds.
Police say he suffers from Alzheimer’s.
