Discussion:
Steady, at times heavy rain will make for a messy morning commute. Rainfall totals will range from 1-2″. Localized flooding is a concern, especially in those flood-prone areas and local streams and creeks. Patchy fog will linger for much of the day. Temps will remain cool today with rain tapering off early afternoon as a low swings south and east of the area. The mountains could see a rain/snow mix overnight as temps fall into the 30s overnight. It will be blustery for the higher elevations with winds out of the NW 15-20 mph and gusts 30-35 mph. Drier outlook for the rest of the week. Temps will warm to the low to mid-60s through Wednesday. Sunshine through the end of the week with highs back in the low 80s for the weekend.
