PITTSBURGH, P.A. — The Pittsburgh Steelers head coach, Mike Tomlin, has been fined $100,000 for interfering with a kick return in last Thursday night’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.

The NFL handed down the fine Wednesday.  They also said Tomlin should have been flagged on the play for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Tomlin was standing in the white stripe that borders the field while the Raven’s Jacoby Jones was returning a kickoff.

Tomlin says he takes full responsibility for his actions and apologized for causing negative attention to the organization.
