Β The last time the Panthers played the Patriots, most NFL fans around the country were glued to their televisions. Β The Cats delivered big during Monday Night Football in November 2013.Β They were on fire after winning five games in a row. Β That was the big game were Tom Brady gave the refs an earful and the phrase “Ice Up, Son!” was born!
Tonight’s matchup doesn’t count in the win/loss column, but Coach Ron Rivera believes the Panthers are on the doorstep of becoming what the Patriots are. Β He says we’re on the cusp, and this year will tell a lot for the direction we are headed. Β He goes on to say that he’s always used the Patriots as a measuring stick.
