Alert: CPCC’s Phone System Is Down

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — CPCC wants the community to know they are having issues with their phone service and can not receive calls at this time.

 The issue has been ongoing since Tuesday, January 20th.  The college is working with their phone provider to get the issue resolved.  

CPCC asks any college students trying to connect with CPCC employees or departments to do so via email.  Directors of all CPCC employees can be found here: http://appserver.cpcc.edu/edirectory/default.asp.

Officials say outside calls will ring and sound normal for a caller but when college personnel attempt to answer, the line sounds disconnected and the caller cannot be heard.  The problem is affecting all CPCC campuses and the WTVI/PBS Charlotte TV Station.  

CPCC cannot predict when the phone service will be restored.  Any updates on the situation can be found via CPCC’s social media pages.
