Panthers Jonathan Stewart Tears MCL

CHARLOTTE, NC – They say all good things must come to an end, and that’s exactly the case for the Panthers and their 8-game winning streak. The Cats lost the game–and a key player on offense Sunday in New Orleans–but there’s good news and bad news for Jonathan Stewart.

The good news is, the running back did not tear his ACL–which would’ve require season ending surgery. The bad news? Stewart suffered a torn MCL in his right knee and will be out of the mix for at least ten days. So, there’s a chance he could be back at some point this season.
