CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — Authorities say a fire truck responding to a wreck overturned Friday afternoon.
The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. on Shiloh Church Road. A spokesman with Odell Volunteer Fire Department tells WCCB, the truck was responding to a wreck on Highway 73 when the rear of the truck went off the side of the road. Two firefighters were onboard but were not injured. Officials say slick roads might have been a factor.
North Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
