CHARLOTTE, NC– Late Tuesday night MEDIC took one person to the hospital after a shooting in southwest Charlotte.
It happened at the Yorkridge apartments on Yorkridge Drive.Β Police taped off a car in the area.
It’s not known what led to the shooting or if a suspect is in custody.
Authorities say a planned fight among young people escalated into a shooting at a North Carolina park Monday morning that left two teenage boys dead and five other people injured.
Two women, including the gunman's wife who was the mother of their children, were also shot and critically wounded, according to Shreveport Police Department spokesperson Chris Bordelon.
