CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are requestingย the publicโs assistance in identifying a robbery suspect.
Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Departmentโs Armed Robbery Unit are looking for a woman suspected of robbing a TCBY in Ballantyne.
Officers say the female suspect entered the business, implied that she had a weapon, and then robbed the business of property. The suspect then fled the business on foot, according to reports.

The suspect is described as a young white female, approximately 5โ4โ, with a thin build and brown hair. Reports say she was last seen wearing aviator-style sunglasses, a dark red flannel shirt, skinny jeans, dark colored hiking boots, and a large black purse.ย
