No Swim Advisory in Effect for Lake Norman
CHARLOTTE, NC —Β AΒ no swim advisoryΒ is in effect for Lake Norman. Β 1,000 gallons of sewage spilled into a cove in Denver Wednesday morning.
The Lincoln County Health Director says a mechanical failure at a lift station is to blame. Β
The Public Works Department is continuously testing the water and will notify the public when it safe to swim again.
