Police Searching For Man Suspected Of Robbing Charlotte Bank

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect involved in a Charlotte robbery.

According to reports, an unknown male suspect, armed with a handgun, entered the First Citizens Bank on Woodlawn Road. The suspect reportedly approached a bank employee and demanded money. Authorities say once the suspect received money he then fled the scene. 

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6’ tall, medium build and his late 40’s to 50’s.  He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black sneakers and blue jeans.
