Two Arrested After Shooting, Standoff

KING’S MOUNTAIN, NC — Two men arrested after a shooting and standoff in Cleveland County are in jail on $15,000 bond each.

Roger Robertson is charged with shooting into an occupied property. Dillon Gordon is charged with obstruction.

The men are accused of using an assault-style weapon to shoot at a car in King’s Mountain overnight. Deputies acting on a tip found the guys at a home on Dixon Boulevard.

Deputies got a family out of the home safely. One suspect gave up. Officers spent an hour trying to talk the second man into surrendering, before they went in and got him.
