GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — Gaston County Police are attempting to identify a larceny suspect last seen wearing a wig.
The suspect attempted to cash fraudulent checks in Charlotte, Mint Hill, Fort Mill, and possibly Union County. He used identification from a purse stolen in a Larceny from Auto incident in Gaston County.
The suspect is a white male, late 20βs to early 40βs, wearing a female wig with long, straight, light or blonde hair with bangs. Β He was driving a silver Chevy Malibu.
The public is reminded and encouraged to lock their car doors and keep all valuables out of sight if possible.Β
