LANCASTER, S.C. — A South Carolina man has been arrested for allegedly killing his 5-year-old son.

Officials say Robert Jordan, 47, Β was arrested Tuesday for theΒ death of his son, 5-year-old LaβMarionΒ Jordan.
On September 5th, Lancaster police received a callΒ about the death.Β JordanΒ reported that the child, who had a disability, fell out of his wheelchair and hit his head onΒ the floor the previous day. He told officers the child was transported to CMC, where he died that afternoon.
After interviewing witnesses,Β reviewing the autopsy report, and consulting with aΒ medical expert, officials charged JordanΒ with Homicide by Child Abuse.
