WASHINGTON (AP) β Ivanka Trump plays down her influence in her father’s presidential campaign, but the 33-year-old is a trusted and influential political adviser.
It was Ivanka who introduced Donald Trump when he announced his campaign for the Republican nomination. And Ivanka who huddled with him during breaks in the TV debates.
“She’s got great sensibility” β that’s how Trump describes his daughter.
The campaign isn’t saying exactly what she’s doing.
But she’s said to help with campaign messaging and to have contributed to her father’s tax plan β while acting more broadly as his muse.
All this, while Ivanka Trump sells her own line of jewelry, clothing, shoes, and more. And serves as a power player in the Trump real estate empire.
