
ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — Deputies say a trespassing call ended with a man facing serious drug charges in Rowan County. Β
Investigators say the trespassing suspect, John Dunbar, was stopped by deputies while driving a vehicle with a fictitious tag on Johnson Dairy Road in Rockwell. Β Dunbar also had a revoked license, according to investigators. Β After Dunbar was taken into custody deputies searched his vehicle. Β
During the search, deputies found digital scales and a safe. Β Detectives got a search warrant and found 301 grams of meth, several prescription drugs, syringes and plastic bags inside the safe. Β
Dunbar has been charged with trafficking meth, five counts of possess with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver Sch II, III and IV controlled substances, one count of maintaining a vehicle for keeping and selling controlled substances and four counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
