CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Officials say East Independence Boulevard has been reopened.
Outbound Independence Boulevard was shut down after a gas line rupture.
The closure happened on Thursday between North Sharon Amity and Idlewild Road.
Officials say no injuries were reported during the gas rupture.
