New York Man Accused of Luring Local Child Into Sexual Relationship

CHARLOTTE, NC — Mooresville Police arrested an out-of-state man accused of using the Internet to lure a local child into a sexual relationship. The suspect is Alexander Watros of New York.

Watros faces almost two dozen charges, including statutory rape and kidnapping. He was arrested by New York State Troopers in the Syracuse area and extradited to the Iredell County jail.

He is being held under a $1 million secured bond.
